Wait, Jim, don't put more pressure on Natalia than she is already putting on herself! But you are absolutely correct about the direction. Hopefully Natalia's constituents will be patient because most of the problems have no quick fixes (just look at how so many are already turning on Obama). The problems must be thoughtfully looked at, taking advantage of bodies of work already done by CMU and Pitt and others. And the solutions might not be politically popular, but that's why we elect people such as Natalia.
So good luck, Natalia, and be careful not to be burned by the torch you are bearing!

Natalia's election and her remarks upon taking office illustrate pointedly the direction that we must take in our cities if we and our cities are to survive and return to prosperity. Good luck to Natalia, the torch-bearer!

I find myself breathing a sigh of relief to have Natalia on City Council. She will bring a sane practical voice to city government. I will continue to support her, even though I'm not in her district. NATLALIA FOR MAYOR!!!
