Natalia Rudiak is proud to announce that she has received the endorsement of the Allegheny County Labor Council.
Below are excerpts from a statement on Natalia’s committment to labor:
Union values are my values. I am proud to come from a strong family of hard-working union members. My great-grandparents worked in steel mills in Western Pennsylvania and the coal mines in Eastern Pennsylvania. After seeing the struggles of his brothers and sisters in the mills around Lyndora and Butler, PA, my grandfather became a union organizer and one of the founding members of the Steelworkers Organizing Committee (SWOC). My grandmother worked at Lewis, Oliver and Phillips during WWII and was a unionized waitress at the Seventh Avenue Hotel. My father was the 23-year Secretary and Steward of AFSCME Local 2459 and is now president of the Retired Public Employees of Pennsylvania Allegheny County Subchapter 8401.
Thank you to the Allegheny County Labor Council for your support!
